- Aided Pre-Silicon QRE team in maintaining an internal tool used to aid in design validation. This involved updating tool with additional error handling, and validating untested bug fixes using regression testing- Aided in porting tool from Perl to Python for easier maintainability - Documented tool created by engineer in different group so it could be used for our group’s purposes. I documented the process of installing and setting up tool within our group's workarea, and tested tool with inputs relevant to our group, providing feedback when issues were encountered- Wrote python post-processing script to convert tool’s output into the form needed by our group

- Aided pre-silicon verification team in running and debugging OVM validation test cases- Supported software automation team. This included debugging perl scripts involved with continuous integration tools, and writing a unit testing harness in perl to aid in software testing.- Generated a visualization of the block level power consumption of one of Intel’s SoC designs. My tasks for this involved writing python scripts to parse data files which contained IP block power and location information, using excel macros to process and format parsed data, and to generate a power map visualization.

Worked closely with another engineer to develop a key web application for logging IP information:- Implemented the application’s SQL database using the Hibernate ORM framework- Wrote the interfacing code that allowed the Client-side web GUI to communicate with the databaseCreated modules and ran sims using Verilog to aid in the verification of functional models for various FPGA IPsAided senior designers in debugging and modifying circuit designs and verifying that they met project specsOwned the power-on reset circuit for a major project under the supervision of a senior designer:- Performed transistor level modifications, added circuitry to fit the needs of the current project, and ran pre/post layout simulations at various process, voltage and temperature corners to verify the design

While working at ARSC, I was taught the basics of general purpose GPU programming in CUDA (NVIDIA’s parallel computing language), how to operate their supercomputer systems by using its batch system to run and queue jobs, and I was also responsible for performing various benchmarking tests and analyses on the supercomputers to check their speed and performance in different situations.

I supported a team of Network Engineers in maintaining and managing their Test and Evaluation secure networks which provide connectivity from the east to west coast. My responsibilities included maintaining and troubleshooting the fiber optic connections, aiding in improving local and network the security settings that the base’s workstations are governed by, and familiarizing myself with the procedures and process of bringing a new computer system onto a secure network with the goal of detailing the process in a written Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for reference and future.
