Reconciliation bank deposits statements with Well Fargo, PaymentechProcess donation checks for “Gift of Warmth” Process in-house and out-house checks for Washington Gas Utilities.Process all damage checks Prepare an invoice for checks received without the invoice Send incoming customer billing checks via FedEx to Lockbox.Verify customer-mailing address and update new address in SAP for processing refund checks.Open and sort mail, forwarding checks and documents to correct department for processing.Retain and destroy documents per Washington Gas policy. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

 Review daily WinPrism Point of Sale (POS) closing reports for all stores and reconciles cashier totals to POS summary reports.  Review credit card summary reports and reconcile all sales and returns to cash register receipts, then prepare cash deposits and verifies credit card batches equal credit card settlements.  Reconcile account receivable transactions to cashier reports and total accounts receivable transactions by account.  Reconcile and prepare cash deposits daily documenting discrepancies and prepare bank deposit report. Receive of general merchandise (clothing, gifts, and supplies) using WinPrism to accurately note overages and shortages noting any discrepancies.  Enter credit invoices and memos for discrepancies into WinPrism Inventory Control System ensuring accuracy of vendor’s quantity of merchandise  When discrepancy are found make note and contact buyers for further review Match invoices and record in WinPrism and provides daily report to buyers  Coordinate with department buyer and/or vendor for missing receiving documents or invoices Contact vendors and buyers to resolve any issues with merchandise received Oversee new vendor credit requests and work closely with buyers and vendors to resolve outstanding credit requests
