Currently, I am working as a Senior Research Assistant at Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) in the Surface Engineering Group. I have a one-year Research Associate experience at Loughborough University, UK, where I also earned my PhD. My doctoral research focused on tribodynamics characterisation and micro/nanoscale contact conditions, conducted in partnership with Capricorn Automotive Ltd UK and BP Castrol Ltd UK. This work has resulted in 32 journal and conference papers, published in reputed journals and presented at prestigious conferences globally, through both internal and external collaborations. In addition to my PhD, I hold a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering: Engineering Rheology from a consortium of KU Leuven (Belgium), Universidade do Minho (Portugal), and the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia). I also have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Engineering & Technology (UET) Lahore, Pakistan. My research expertise includes advanced experimental techniques such as Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX), optical microscopy, interferometry, tribometry, and goniometry. These skills are well-demonstrated through my extensive publication record in esteemed journals.#Atomicforcemicroscopy #Lateralforcemicroscopy#Tribometry#Tribometer#Scanningelectronmicroscopy#XPS#Horology#Trioblogy#Rheology#Mechanical#characterisation#coatings
