An inquisitive, motivated and passionate leader, as Managing Director for MSI Australia (previously Marie Stopes) I focus on problem-solving to ensure our team has the resources and funding to continue advocating for legal and accessible sexual and reproductive healthcare for all Australians. At MSI Australia, I have the opportunity to work in an organisation focused on social change and with a vital role to play in terms of advocacy and changing the world for better.Having worked in complex, challenging global organisations my entire career, I have become an expert in negotiation and influencing. As an experienced organisational leader, I work to ensure that my team is empowered and has the tools and skills needed to succeed.A lifelong learner, I’ve completed a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Asian Studies, as well as my CPA. I am also currently doing a post graduate Juris Doctor in Law. I seize every opportunity to learn new skills and information that can contribute to the organisation in general and my role in particular, and help to further the team and our legacy.I am an entrepreneur and business person at heart. When I was younger, my family owned a café, so I have always been around business. Never shying away from a challenge, I understand the value in tackling hard questions and having tough conversations. I am committed to driving innovation and a staunch advocate of striving for continuous improvement, in my own work and in others’.At MSI Australia I am working to build a team of leaders, a team that will carry on without me when I move on to the next challenge. We are fighting a difficult battle while abortion is still illegal in many states and we are suffering under the burden of an outdated, politicised stigma.
