 Installing and configuring all network hardware and software to specification planned to minimize disruption of day-to-day operations.  Maintaining all security appliances such as firewalls, IDS, and IPS to prevent unauthorized access to hosted systems. Responsible for monitoring and surveillance, incident management and resolution, technical support, scheduled maintenance, network configuration, and change request support of the entire global IT network infrastructure Install wireless intrusion detection for the Transportation Security Administration by providing guidance on best practices for configuration Design, document, implement, monitor, diagnose, and correct problems in a mixed-vendor LAN/WAN/Wireless network. Work closely with Tier3 network engineers, field technicians, equipment vendors, and telecom carriers to troubleshoot and resolve various types of network issues and outages. Monitor the suspicious IP using MacAfee and simulate the finding using different tools to request a blockage of malicious IP. Implement, monitor, and maintain network security devices such as firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and VPN concentrators
