Hands on experience on SDH equipment’s of different vendors like Huawei (Optix OSN-1500, 2500, 3500 and 7500), Alcatel Lucent Lambdaunite (AMDU, AMU, ADM16, ISM-2000 & SLM-2000) and Siemens (SMA-1/4/16, SURPASS HiT70XX).Fault location and Troubleshooting of Optix OSN-1500, 2500, 3500 and 7500.Software up gradation of Network elements (OSN-3500 and OSN7500).Commissioning and Network configuration (MSP, MSSP Ring and SNCP).Ethernet service configuration of all Huawei, NSN and ALU equipment’s.Hardware Quality Checks of Optix OSN- 3500 and 7500 and Lucent Lambdaunite, AMDU, AMU, ADM16, ISM-2000 and SLM-2000.Preventive maintenance of Optix OSN-3500 and OSN-7500.Monitoring of Alarms and Events of different NMS like U-2000, TNMS, Navis OMS, ITMSC.Prompt support to field staff using Network Management Systems.Replacement of faulty modules.Performance Monitoring, analysis and set up of PM tasks.Configuration, Implementation & Testing of new circuits.Originating, updating and clearing trouble tickets/problem reports through Problem Management System (PMS).Rectifying the root cause of problem in transmission network.Handling the trouble tickets from different departments like MNOC, SNOC, ANOC and other customers of STC after ensuring the proper level fault escalation to vendor.Preparation of outage reports for according to equipment/cable cut duration.Drawing ripe time decision for re-routing circuits and key out to migration group after examining the fault level.Preparation of the daily/weekly/monthly report for the Quality of Service (Daily Critical Rings Report, Pending Tickets via using Remedy Trouble Tickets system). In addition, consolidating a performance report keeping in view individual basis and Group wise.Opening, referring, updating and clearing of the trouble tickets thorough the RTTS (Remedy Trouble Ticket System) tool.
