I am a Senior Environmental Planner that specializes in CEQA/NEPA development strategies, technical assessment and reporting, permits, compliance, and program management of complex land use, development, and land management projects. The checklists were published on the County's website and paved the way for new industries to become Green Certified. The informational materials were distributed to local businesses as a form of outreach to inform them of the best management practices applicable to their industry and the steps required to become Green Certified. Supported the planning effort behind the Santa Cruz Earth Day Event through public outreach and by creating an educational activity for children to learn the consequences of water pollution and the importance of conservation. While working for the County's Environmental Compliance Dept., I accompanied environmental inspectors on their surveys of local businesses’ grease traps to confirm they were operating in compliance with County standards. Also assisted in the preparation of Board letters and grant letters for the Environmental Compliance Dept.
