The Chief Development Officer manages an ambitious fundraising program for a nonprofit network of community centers in downtown Manhattan, with over 700 employees, serving almost 50,000 New Yorkers annually across 11 program sites. The Chief Development Officer also serves on the organization's highly collaborative executive leadership team.

The Vice President, Development serves as a Chief Development Officer and works to secure the financial resources needed to pursue our mission of educational equity and excellence. The VP collaborates with other organizational leaders to develop a fundraising strategy that is sustainable, and leads on New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut efforts to consistently raise $15M to $20M annually in support of the organizational operating budget. Ultimately, the VP ensures that TFA has the means to dramatically increase our impact and fundamentally alter the life trajectories of thousands of children.

In this role I served as a results-oriented, strategic thinker who supervised and mentored fundraisers who had their own ambitious fundraising goals. I worked throughout the Development division to align political fundraising strategy and worked closely with the Policy, Campaign, and Advocacy division as well as the Planned Parenthood Action Fund board to promote a culture of philanthropy. I also worked across the Principal & Major Gifts team, with affiliate partners, and across the Federation as a whole to drive PPFA’s principal and major gifts fundraising success. I was responsible for raising funds for c3 and c4 organizations as well as related PACs. In addition, I maintained my own portfolio of donors each with the potential to give at the principal gifts level.

In this role I was responsible for leading the Society’s annual individual giving program, with the goal of increasing donations and providing stewardship and engagement opportunities for current and potential donors. I worked closely with the Vice President for Development and other staff to coordinate efforts that led to increased support for the New-York Historical Society. I had oversight of membership programs, major gifts identification and research, as well as donor relations and events.
