The position’s main duties are divided in spot checking of hotel rooms to ensure standards, authorizing all leave schedules or ensuring control of expenditures as well as budgets set. Handle responsibilities of the Manager of Housekeeping. • Responsible for Housekeeping and horticulture for the 50 acres of property.• Handle the day to day operations of the Convention centre, at total of 05 acre. Of space.• Support in the supervision of Guest Room Attendants and assigned floors to ensure all rooms and hallways are cleaned to Hotel standards.• Supervise Housekeeping employees to ensure they are alert to all their duties and adhere to Company and Housekeeping policies and procedures • Inspect the required number of guest rooms on a daily basis to ensure Guest Room attendants are conforming to the sanitation and cleaning standards set by the Company • Maintain records including repairs needed, lost and found items, and quality of work completed by employees • Instruct employees on the products used for cleaning in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). • Resolve guest complaints in a timely manner • Issue and retrieve all master keys, beepers, and two-way radios at the beginning and end of each shift
