With over 15 years of experience in environmental education and policy, I am passionate about facilitating the development of mission-driven, community-centered research that advances the wellbeing of people and planet. As the Managing Director of the Alliance for Watershed Education at the National Wildlife Federation, I oversee the strategic direction, partnerships, and evaluation of a network of 23 environmental centers that engage diverse audiences in watershed stewardship and advocacy.I have secured and managed multiple grants and funding proposals that support the sustainability and impact of our projects. I also have a proven track record of designing and delivering innovative and award-winning educational exhibits, programs, and courses that translate complex environmental issues into engaging and accessible messages. In addition, I have a unique interdisciplinary background that combines ecology, marine affairs, biology, and choreography, which enables me to integrate art and science in creative and meaningful ways. I am committed to collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, educational institutions, research foundations, government agencies, and community-based organizations to advance the conservation of our natural resources and the well-being of our communities.
