To assist in research and development, upscale and implement nature-based environmental technologies for treating contaminated soil and groundwater for industrial and mining clients.

Spent an entire semester abroad at a university in Barcelona as a master’s student in a lab related to my research as an environmental microbiologist. I developed cross-cultural skills and improved my lab skills.

They assisted lecturers during practical lab sessions with their students. The first semester consisted of training 2nd-year microbiology students in their practical work, and the second semester was training 3rd-year microbiology students.

Served as elected deputy chairman for the student-led volunteer organisation to grow vegetables for food-insecure students in and around campus. This was achieved by collaborating with other campus organisations and growing produce at a designated space on campus.

Assist Honours- Postdoc students as well as platform staff with the lab work of their experiments while gaining experience and supervision from seniors.

I served visiting special guests from other universities or different countries. I also assisted in setting up culinary utensils and halls for workshops and events that required catering.

I worked as a teaching assistant for the lecturer to guide first-year chemistry students during their practicals.
