About Jorge Augusto Meira

I am Research Scientist at the University of Luxembourg managing several data analysis projects applied to anomaly detection, anti-fraud, aircraft maintenance, AML, etc. I earned my Ph.D. in Computer Science, and more particularly in Database Stress Testing, from the University of Luxembourg, Luxembourg, in 2014. My PhD research was completed in a joint supervision between the University of Luxembourg and Universidade Federal do Paraná. My main interests cover Data Analytics, Databases (SQL, NewSQL, NoSQL, Blockchain) and IoT. I have also gained experience at the beginning of my career as a System Analyst at Telecom Italia Mobile (TIM), from 2007 to 2009.
