I serve as both a people manager and product manager of a cross functional team comprised up of a scrum master, developers, database administrators and content managers. We use Agile methodology to ensure enhancements, features and fixes occur with 2 week sprints. I establish vision for a product that services a user base of over 20K. I have a maniacal focus on both UX/ UI to ensure the product delights our clients.

I developed visualizations for a Sales Incentives transformation project's KPIs leveraging Watson Analytics. I worked closely with my organizations VP to provide insights and data based recommendations for the directions of project.As member of a cross functional team, I developed user stories for the design of a content management tool and user analysis tool. Additionally, I was responsible for testing the functionality and features of the various tools

Facilitated student centered digital learning environment resulting in increased student academic achievement. Analyzed formative assessment data to differentiate instructional delivery methods based on the needs of learners. Created highly engaging instructional videos using iMovie and uploaded to YouTube based on student interest. Coordinated instructional and operational support for a remediation program targeting Science and Social Studies. Evaluated and adjusted use of remediation program resources resulting in savings of over $3000 in 20 day and Title I funds. Modeled effective use of technology tools for student engagement and assessment resulting in increased technology usage. Collaborated with educators to develop and implement engaging and meaningful lesson based needs of learners. Established effective classroom rules and procedures reducing class disruptions and limiting behavior problems. Collaborated with administrators to plan and organize the 2014 Young Men’s Conference for south Cobb Co. area schools. Recipient of The Crystal Apple Award in recognition of being selected as Teacher of the Month for March 2014. Nominated for Atlanta Families’ Awards for Excellence in Education, 2015-2016. Conducted EDMODO training resulting in optimization of technology resources and student engagement. Measured student mastery of objectives using alternative formal assessments to include written and oral presentation. Developed ill-structured historical problems resulting in improvement in student critical thinking skills. Selected to attend the 2011 Georgia Educational Technology Conference.

Conducted peer observations, providing objective feedback enhancing teacher effectiveness and student achievement. Initiated peer staff development opportunities resulting in improved teacher pedagogy and overall grade level morale. Implemented adjustments to the monthly floor meetings schedule, which maximized teacher planning and preparation time. Processed grade level detention paperwork and provided parent notification of students scheduled detention. Achieved 85% student pass rate on Standards of Learning (SOL), Virginia’s standardized accountability. Writer and recipient of a $3000 School Improvement Mini Grant for a Promethean Interactive Whiteboard. Selected to attend the 2010 National Conference for Social Studies due to student’s high performance on standardized test. Member of National Junior Honor Society Selection committee.

Developed and implemented a plan of action which led division to a 93% Board of Inspection and Survey score. Initiated Monday Morning Leadership training for department leaders resulting in improved leadership ability. Analyzed divisional training needs and implemented training solutions improving overall divisional readiness. Developed training presentation for ship’s company resulting in greater awareness of abandon ship procedures. Trained divisional representatives on Navy’s quality assurance procedures improving safety and quality maintenance.
