My earliest recollections include a passion for sports, technology, community service, and cultivating relationships with people. During my younger pursuits as an athlete, I was taught the principles of hard work, collaboration, and service-minded leadership that helped shape me into the man that I am today. Moreover, developing and building relationships with people stimulated me as it allowed me to learn more about different cultures and diverse backgrounds of people from different walks of life. Every citizen of humanity has a purpose in life and a unique talent to give to others. By blending our exceptional skills with service to others, we can experience joy and contentment; we tap into a higher form of our humanity. Working in the sports industry is very eventful and enjoyable. However, it is not assured that a person will be able to combine their passions with their career when it comes to work. Taking this into consideration, I am privileged to have lived this reality during my professional life.My most recent work experience comes as an athletic director and event planner. I have spent the crux of my career journey within the sports industry specializing in delivering unique and invigorating experiences. Moreover, my event planning practice has allowed me to lead and tell more stories through specialized events and digital platforms. This skill has resulted in successful business-driven results, such as increased business awareness and profits. The events have been the catalyst in humanizing and building a connection between the brand and the consumer. As consumer engagement and behavior with products and brands continue to evolve, I am excited to search for and unlock new stories and experiences that can truly inspire people.
