I was engaged to develop, implement and continue to lead the Technology Group within Hasting Deering, supporting all aspects of management for Cat Technology solutions; MineStar (all elements), Vision Link and Product Link. I lead the pilot as a Cat dealer for ECA and Cat Inspect. The team are also responsible for all Cat machine on-board and off-board.

I was responsible for the site support agreement for the Blackwater mine site; managing a fleet of 12 Kress CH200CII and CH220C belly dump coal haulers with a team of twenty-five people on even time rotating roster arrangements.I maintained a high safety focus and discipline across all crews within budgetary compliance; managing local rental housing.

Blackwater Mine

As the BMA Blackwater Product Support Representative, I managed the Custom Track and Blade program to support the customers’ fleet of D11R/N machines; including giving advice on component support and identifying and supporting the customer with any Cat related issues.I sold, developed and implemented a changeover plan to convert the site from Cummins tech.

Central Queensland

I provided general Mining Field service in the Central Queensland region; supporting all mining customers across all Cat equipment and was a permanent Site Field Service Fitter at BMA Blackwater Mine.
