Completed a challenging design engineering project that others were not able to complete.

Principal Engineer. Accomplishments include, primary innovator for the ENZA 2.0 ALIF bladed fixation implant with instrumentation, that was based on my predecessors work on the Enza 1.0. Enza 2.0 design incorporated a DMLS process to form the implant body, secondary machining on key features, and wire EDM on the guides. The internal parts were machined from TAV, and designed for repeated cycling, and better test results. I also designed a porous texture that promotes bone growth and integration for the implant superior and inferior surfaces that is based on another Camber product. The implant and instrumentation design reduced manufacturing costs dramatically, greatly increased all testing loads, and simplified the surgeon learning requirement. I also designed a cervical version of ENZA and a Lateral lumbar version with instrumentation. This implant family are patent pending.I designed an adjustable height TLIF implant that is patent pending with best in class range in height adjustment, great graft pre-packing, and post packing thru the inserter.I designed a Dynamic disc (artificial disc) with the lowest in class height, greatly extended life expectance, anatomical range of motion, and utilizes dampened motion at range limits. It is patent pending.I designed a modular pedicel screw system to allow the tulip type to be attached to the screw size as needed.Interacted with doctors and reps to customize or design from scratch the majority of our custom instruments.

Invent and design minimal invasive spinal fusion implants and instruments in collaboration with doctors, a compliance engineer and sales. Responsibilities span new product development engineering, patent protection, FDA compliance, manufacturing engineering, packaging and production oversight.

Inventor and developer of the new and patented ocean wave energy capture device that converts the rotary motion into electricity.

Mechanical design work on ear buds, home entertainment products, and in dash radio for luxurysports cars.

Invented, developed, and implemented production of at least six new products, utilizing injectionmolding, RIM, aluminum extrusions, and over-molding. Designed special machinery for bending cable used in over-molded lift points, and invented and engineered better plastic threaded precast inserts for nation wide distribution to the precast concrete industry. Other new products designed include flush fit Culvert and wall connectors, and Aluminum extruded parts for vault access doors.

Design of Juvenile products such as strollers for city use or jogging. Designed special needs medical products used to provide greater mobility for people with severe physical limitations.

Design engineering on new infant swings, strollers, walkers, and high chairs.

Design and construct new medical tables, cut, weld, and machine Jigs and fixtures to build them. Build all prototypes, and instruct and over see personnel on machining and assembly procedures for production. Managed as many as 21 people before process improvements took effect.
