I worked as a traffic analyst in the transportation engineering department.My duties were: * Coordinating with contractors for services* Requesting traffic forecast maps and project development data from municipalities* Develope traffic models* Use traffic modeling software* Read and write Traffic Impact Studies (TIS)* Use AutoCAD to draft turning diagrams, site plans and roadway designs* Research municipal code for rules regarding site development* Assist the civil engineering department with redlines and drafting as needed* Assist planning department with municipal code research related to site development, submitting check sheets and plan sets with cities and counties, find right-of-way and property locations using state and county GIS maps as needed.

Maintain customer relations. Accounting for the business, from billing to taxes. Commercial and residential janitorial work. Anything else as needed.

Troubleshoot problems with equipment and experiments. Then aide in the development of solutions. Help organize and maintain labs and equipment. Help with material acquisitions for labs. Test samples in load frame.
