Highly proficient in state-of-the-art imaging equipment.Conduct scrub assist with the implementation of pacemakers, ICDs, bi ventricular devices, laser lead extractions and in executing procedures such as Watchman, PFO closure, ablation and both diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath.Demonstrate authoritative knowledge of equipment required for advanced and/or complex procedures when pulling and preparing diversified devices and materials.Develop and sustain proactive partnership with Stryker to re-process and procure equipment with cost efficiency.Administer consultation and instruction to patient, caregivers and family on procedure details, both before and after completion. Reduce patient anxiety and ensure safety and efficiency of procedure. Position patient with 100% accuracy and apply equipment to obtain and record angiographic data as well as control radiographic exposure. Apply 12-lead electrocardiogram electrodes, non-invasive blood pressure cuffs and sterileprepping and draping of patients. Perform hemodynamic monitoring.Extend imaging equipment lifecycle and ensure proper functioning by troubleshooting and performing reparative and preventative maintenance.Adhere to approved standards of aseptic technique during diagnostic lab procedures with compliance to safety requirements. Facilitate implementation of physicians’ orders with accuracy and efficiency.
