• Overseeing daily operations and coordinating project activities; ensuring adherence to production support plan• Supervising, coaching, training, motivating and mentoring personnel, setting clear goals and expectations, providing relevant feedback and discipline as required• Establishing, implementing and overseeing effective systems, processes and controls• Developing and implementing preventative and planned maintenance plans for all manufacturing machinery• Ensuring the availability of critical spares• Overseeing the removal of scrap metal from the plant• Building strong working relationships and effective communication channels with internal suppliers and other key stakeholders• Planning and managing team performance, skills development, talent and culture to improve innovation, achieve efficiencies and increase competencies• Managing general maintenance team requirements such as tools and PPE• Managing spares, tools and consumable items inventory• Reading and interpreting technical documentation• Producing various budgets, reports, analyses, correspondence and other documentation • Performing as a strong leader of a cohesive team with strict enforcement of health, safety and statutory regulations, quality standards, governance processes and compliance requirements• Assessing team members; identifying training and development needsSpecial Achievement- Downtime reduction on breakdowns from 65% to less the 10% average- Establishing Maintenance Department including workflow and processes- Implementing and maintaining a job card system to manage all maintenance tasks
