I have extensive technical experience as a RF Engineering Technician Specialist. I interned and practiced design for Remec Defense and Space, Inc. while studying Electrical Engineering at San Diego State University. I successfully completed all undergraduate requirements in static differentiation, mathematics, and physics; all of which elevated my understanding of electrical, structural, thermodynamics and fluid mechanics behavior. Additionally, while attending San Diego State University, I simultaneously worked as a RF Test and Tuning Tech in the commercial, defense and space industries. I have been involved in projects such as circuit development for ASPJ of ITT Avionics, antenna modules for the Northrop Grumman Corporations’ Global Hawk, and glacier measuring transceivers for JPL of NASA, just to name a few. My enlistment in the U.S.M.C. offered me training in ground radio repair knowledge as well as leadership skills. During my 11 year employment with Remec Defense and Space, Inc., I accelerated from Test Tech Level 1 through the ranks of test and tune to an Engineering Tech IV. With Remec, I also performed entry level design using AutoCAD 2000. Two of my greatest achievements were the successful completion of two RF Amplifier subassembly designs in which I performed all of the required testing and tuning with data to support the performance specifications and as well as the design itself for the radar antenna system in the UAV Global Hawk.
