The primary purpose of this position is providing oversight, technical expertise, and liaison of Logistics support functions to include contract ground handling and support services, crew support, and contingency and exercise operations. Loaded & offloaded DoD cargo aircraft while supporting Air Mobility Command's Global Concept of Operations. Responded to Earthquakes. Hurricanes, Pandemics & combat areas with Air base openings and establishing remote airfields. Managed diverse group of Airmen to deploy to a remote, non-functional airfield to establish air cargo and passenger terminal operations within hours of arrival.
