Provided legal advice regarding: Inspection Services, which ensures that commodities meet quality and labeling standards; Marketing Services, which oversees California agricultural marketing programs and boards; Fairs & Expositions, which supports the local efforts of nearly 80 fairs statewide; Measurement Standards, which certifies devices that weigh or measure commodities so that consumers “get what they paid for.”; Plant Health & Pest Prevention Services, which protects California from exotic and invasive plant pests and diseases; Administration,which provides administrative support services to all divisions within the Department; and Animal Health & Food Safety Services, which promotes food safety and protects public and animal health
