My duties as the Quality Assurance Manager are as follows:- Evaluate subcontractors to determine products are in compliance with the contractual requirements.- Review blueprints, technical data packages and contracts to identify the contractual requirements of products.- Manage quality program in support of acquisition quality assurance. - Interpret blueprint drawings, Mylar’s and standard specifications designed by all armed forces of the United States military covering materials, heat treatment, Non-Destructive Testing, paint and plating.- Conduct meetings with contractors in regards to their manufacturing performance.- Define criteria for acceptance/rejections of material chemical analysis inspections, heat treatment, and Non-Destructive Testing.- Design dimensional inspection and Non-Destructive Testing procedures to determine product conformance with contractual requirements.- Evaluate contractor deficiency trends and develop corrective action plans.- Issue acceptance criteria of materials to Non-Destructive Testing contractors.- Review contracts for compliance with technical requirements.- Evaluate materials needed and determine suitability for tasked project.- Collaborate with sales engineers to improve process management of materials, castings, forgings, plating, paint finish, Non-Destructive Testing, and machining operations.- Assist customer representative Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Quality Assurance Specialist with performing Government Source Inspection, Product Verification Testing, and First Article Testing prior to shipping products.- Inspect parts dimensionally for First Articles, Production Lot Testing, and standard production lot.

Supervised technicians during non-destructive testing inspections. Performed non-destructive x-ray, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, ultrasonic, and eddy current inspections of F/A-18, EA-6B, E-2C, C-2, and SH-60 aircraft. Managed tool and calibration program. Trained personnel in new testing methods. Fabricated hydraulic lines per blueprint. Overhauled aircraft and support equipment components. Audited work centers for compliance with military specifications.

Supervised aircraft structural mechanics performing organizational level maintenance on S-3B aircraft. Lead as work center Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Representative. Trained structural technicians in maintenance procedures, preventive maintenance, aircraft operation theory, and quality assurance. Performed structural repair of aircraft.
