Working in upper management for over 20 years as logistics manager, General Manager and President I oversaw the operations of Vitto Brand Foods, I was responsible for the strategies, development of new products, new process ideas, process improvements, building relationships with current and new customers and stakeholders, and the vision to guide the company successfully into the future. The Vitto Brand label and private label products were produced at Vitto's federally licensed and inspected meat processing plant and could be found at all major retailers in Ontario including: Sobeys, Loblaws, Metro, Farm Boy, Longo's and several smaller and independent retailers. We also produced and supplied meat products to distributors, restaurants, arenas and other sports venues, catering companies, special events and fundraising organizations. In my tenure as President we attained certification to produce organic, humane, Halal and certification to sell to Whole Foods Markets. Introducing many new products under the Vitto label and under private label for Beretta Farms, Yorkshire Farms, Life Choices, Alderwood Farms, Artisan Farms and Farm Boy.I’ve gained valuable experience and skills in collaboration and communication, working within the management team, leading and coordinating both company operations and projects. As Logistics Manager, General Manager and then President of the company I was in continuous contact with all stakeholders both internal and external, dealing with and following up on any public inquiries, negotiating with contractors and our retail partners, were all part of my daily duties. I performed most of the companies operational purchasing and all the company’s project related procurement of goods and services. I have recently, completed the Project Management Post Graduate Certificate Course at Cambrian College (1 year program), and I have achieved my PMP Certification and have extensive progressive management experience.I am an extremely motivated individual who is devoted to getting the work done efficiently and the right way, used to working in a highly regulated industry and following guidelines. I believe that my working experience shows that I am a proven problem solver and lifelong learner with the ability to adapt and take on new roles and responsibilities, showing constant growth and development.
