My role consisted of managing the stock flow throughout the store whilst leading the delivery team I would liaise between managers to ensure accurate and cost effective stock efficiency. Leading, motivating & driving the delivery team in achieving outstanding productivity. Swiftly after becoming a manger, I built a stronger & more diverse team, with much happier members of staff. My greatest achievement in this role would be maintaining 5 whole months of positive productivity.

Due to a Supervisor being off on holiday for a month at another store, I was recommended by the Area Manger to go in and supervise the stockroom and its delivery team. I received positive feedback from the store manager and told I had created a more resilient, efficient stock team within the month I was there. As I had made quite an impact on the management team, I was offered an alternate contract to stay at the store.

Second in command to Stockroom and Delivery operations manager, adhering to training of all stockroom staff, leading the Delivery team in the absence of the Delivery Coordinator and supporting floors in the workplace. I was later promoted to ‘Stockroom Manager & Delivery Coordinator’ due to hard work and displaying leadership qualities whilst leading through pressurized workloads.

To work as part of the delivery team in order to ensure all deliveries are actioned on time and to Company standard, maintaining high standards of merchandising and housekeeping at all times and carrying out replenishment of sales floors.
