Iter Engineering Design Domain Risk Manager
CurrentThis role involved the management of all technical and non-technical risks within the engineering design domain at the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER). Specific responsibilities involve: - Develop and monitoring the ITER's capabilities on R&OM by implementing best practice methods, processes, tools (ARM, P6, Confluence) and governance rules for R&O identification, assessment, prioritization, reporting to senior management as well as response planning, monitoring and controlling from a Project Management perspective. - Defining maintaining and improving the ITER R&OM key documentation and procedures.- Developing, maintaining and improving the project R&OM register and its system integration into the overall IT landscape of the project. - Production of senior management reports to key stakeholders on a regular basis - Interaction with all technical teams and non-technical teams (PMO) to integrate major and non major risks into forecasting (schedule and cost). - Overview of all risks related to design, manufacture, integration and construction phases of the project and responsibility for assigning appropriate workforces and mitigation strategies.- Senior meeting attendance for internal governance and also presentations to European Councils.- Collaboration approach with stakeholders from multiple nations including: Japan, Korea, USA, China, India and EU. - Key responsibility for training and implementation of training pipelines on latest procedures.
