I am quick to learn, articulate, flexible and hard working. My success to date in my studies attests to my strong numeracy and literacy skills, and I am also a proven team-player and leader, both in the workplace and on the sports field.My substantial work experience has developed my effective communication skills, my ability to meet targets and deadlines, and my strong team-working ethos.My industrial placement at Groupe Renault UK lasted 15 months and has been by far my most useful work experience to date. My role as a Sales Data Analyst appealed to me due to my keen interest in financial modules at university and my love for Excel. I was tasked with creating multiple Excel and PowerPoint reports analysing sales and residual value data that was used throughout the company and also released externally. Perhaps the best experience I could have gained however was working so closely with important internal and third-party contacts. I ran the department email connecting Renault to data providers such as CAP. I spearheaded various changes during my time at Renault including taking sole responsibility of integrating the use of new data systems into our reports; working with the Finance team to create a comprehensive new file analysing our monthly and annual sales data; and making the whole life cost quote of our two main models up to £300 more attractive when I spotted mistakes in our main data provider's system and had the issues rectified.Having worked in a sales-focussed role within the retail industry for 3 years where many skills are needed, I feel my client-facing skill-set magnified significantly. I learnt how to gain the trust of customers quickly, by finding out their needs early on and relating to them. I also worked extremely well towards a group goal with my team. My job taught me team cohesion and a clear, common goal is the way forward when striving for success. Currently in my final year of a sandwich Business Management degree, I am seeking a graduate opportunity within the Finance sector, that will allow me to further develop my skills that I gained in a Sales Data Analyst role last year and better equip me for a career in the financial services industry. My experience and aptitudes have directed me towards jobs in finance, accountancy, and consultancy. These roles combine my strong communicational skills and desire to work with people, whether it be clients and customers or a team of colleagues, along with my strong numeracy, analytical and problem-solving skills.
