Responsible for all trades/jobs at Bruce B, reactors 5-8. Coordinate with Construction Managers, Project managers, Operations, Maintenance and other Contractors on a daily basis. Planning for upcoming work. Regular walkdowns of jobs in progress to asses safety and quality. Problem solve with engineers to find resolutions in the field

Piping Superintendent, coordinate all piping activities across site for the underground. arrange all support required to complete scopes with all trades

Initial job site set up, site orientation, trailer set up, land clearing and building demolition/modifications to repurpose an existing building.Other jobs in tandem included apartment building renovations, cottage builds and renovations.

Commissioning and Start-up at Surmont 2 Conoco Phillips. Supervised a crew of 10. Received work packs from specialist to walk down before organizing the work for the crew. The packs included all LOTO for the work that needed to be completed. I walked all LOTO to ensure everything was safe to work on and would then get a satellite box for the crew to lock on before breaking into any system. Work throughout the plant included:rigging in pipe or valves with cranes, chain falls and come a longs. Bolt up of spools and valves and other system components. Threaded pipe. GALT's (Gross Air Leak Test) Hydro Tests. Pipe strains and walking systems looking for deficiencies.

Supervised and directed a composite crew of Steamfitters and Iron workers setting the mods for the KEIP project at Kearl Lake. Prepped flange and pipe end before setting the mods.

Managed a crew of 12 guys piping out the Froth Separation Units. Lots of rigging bolt up and structural welding of guides and anchors. Once the job manned up more I was the cross shift General Foreman. (one week gf and one week foreman for 8 months) While gf i was in charge of coordinating work for the fitters and also coordinating work with others trades such as Boiler Makers, Electrcians and Scaffolders by putting in scaffold reqs as needed. Ordered material as needed for the job and reported daily to the Construction Manager as to our progress.

Worked on various piping systems including a Fire supression system for new tanks and Underground lines. Fit pipe from 2"-30" to be welded, bolt up, rigging with cranes and also in the racks with chain falls and come a longs. Fabricated brackets and supports, worked on threaded systems, used hydraulic torque machines.Filled in as Foreman when one of the foreman had vacation or called in sick

Rig out old spools and valves and replace with new. Work with Syncrude maintenance personnel when they needed assistance
