Provide documentation and maintenance support for an existing PHP based system using the Symfony Framework. Implemented a Syriac lexicon with a corpus of early Syriac texts (1st – 4th c CE) that are morphologically tagged and linked to that lexicon. The application is implemented in PHP and the Symfony framework and allows for multiple ways to graph and analyze lexical patterns within the text. Performed System Administration and Networking Administration for a local area network with dedicated direct access to the Internet. Duties included system upgrades and maintenance, public key encryption, mail server management, and Web server management.Performed software development in support of a subscriber management system for the RoadRunner Cablemodem Services. It allowed customers to subscribe to many services in a Cable Modem environment. The system is distributed across Windows NT servers and required modifications to the publicly available DNS/Bind. Duties included software development, system analysis and software maintenance.Performed performance analysis and software design tuning to improve the performance of an existing satellite control simulator. The simulator is distributed across AIX and Dynix machines with a Motif user interface. Duties included software development, software maintenance, system analysis, and performance tuning.Performed OSF/Motif and Unix consultation. Designed and developed Motif GUI for existing software.Performed System Administration functions and Real-Time Imaging analysis and image recognition proto-typing.

Developed three separate complex PHP applications implemented with the Symfony framework. Was the Project Lead on two of the projects, provided bid estimates for one of the projects which we won, and for which I was the lead. All three required development of extra plugins and modification of existing plugins for the Symfony framework. The project I bid was a multi-person project with a six month delivery that was delivered within 5% of the bid hours. All three applications were multi-lingual.

Designed and implemented socket routines to provide communication between disparate parts of a real-time traffic project. Provided OSF/Motif consultation.Developed user interface components in Ada, C, FORTRAN, and Motif on VAX/VMS and message processing routines in Ada on Alpha OSF/1. Responsible for the design and implementation of the inter-process communications between processes running on different machines. This was implemented as DECNET Task-to-Task communication. Layout of the windows was assisted by the use of VUIT.Responsible for the design and coding of an Executive, Scheduler, and I/O Drivers according to MIL-STD-2167A. Tasks involved developing Ada findings and representation clauses to bind portions of the I/O Drivers to the CX/RT UNIX Operating System. Designed work around problems with Ada socket interfaces on both the Harris Nighthawk and SUN Workstations.Designed and coded the kernel for a real-time distributed processor system. This project was done in Ada and 1750 Assembly with full 2176A documentation. Some on the special features of the system were its capability for fault tolerance and the capability of the system to be completely re-configurable within software.

Air Force Software Technical Advisor for the AC-130U Gunship Program.Redesigned and implemented a subset of the Digital Avionics Integrated (DAIS) Operating System. Programmer for KC-135 Reintegration Effort. Primary evaluator for computer operating systems and compilers. Included were the DEC Ada compiler, the Data General Ada workstation, the Air Force sponsored Ada Compilation System, the Tartan Ada Compiler, the AIMS compiler, and the NY Ada Interpreter. Evaluation was based on timing tests, code optimization, and production and compatibility issues.Set up and administration of training programs for Software Trainees. Served as System Manager and System Analyst for a computer facility composed of seven DEC VAX and PDP-11 systems.Lead programmer for an Automated Hardware Test facility.
