This involves upfront engineering being involved in design reviews, ensuring the correct tooling is designed and available, checking interfaces of components/tools and looking into the design to ensure the build can be carried out onsite to the correct standards and customer specifications.Creator of assembly and testing procedures and routings, currently a badge holder for the creation of pressure testing documentation.Conduct RCA, FMEA and continuous improvement projects

Part of the Specialised Manufacturing department. Working on duplex/stainless steel fabrications, factory layouts, robotic welding, 3D printing. Led manufacturability study of a multi-million-pound long term tender for the site. Involved in the build method strategy, cost estimates, production line design, robotic welding studies, digital factory/industry 4.0 initiatives, design of tooling and fixtures. The study successfully led to a mock build for use in the project tender, using the technologies intended for use on the eventual production line. The product was of super duplex material and provided various challenges requiring specialised methods to hit the customer production target.Creation of engineering outputs: CAD models, drawings and weld maps to be issued to the workshop for fabrication. Use of AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.Creation of manufacturing strategy documentation for bids: build method statements, BOM’s, FEA analysis on tools and fixtures. Led several continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives for the site.Involved in all stages of manufacturing and production for Nuclear, Military and Oil & Gas projects.

Involved in the set up and establishing of the Company's new Spoolbase Fabrication facility. I was involved in the upfront Operation Manual preparation, implementation and improvement. I had the job of onsite Project Engineer for the Company's first two pipeline fabrication projects, supervised subcontractors and was the technical interface between the onsite team and project team.Part of a number of successful project teams and involved in pipeline fabrication, activities included: attending meetings with clients and subcontractors, preparation of procedures and task plans, vessel mobilisations and equipment preparation. Developed knowledge in welding and materials after working closely with welding subcontractor.Offshore experience; rigid pipeline and flexible riser installation.Involved in all stages of the project lifecycle; from tender to close out stage, from engineering design to installation. Experienced in CAD and FEA. Gained overall understanding of company/project approach and business model, through this experience I have awareness of cost impacts, importance of quality and scheduling.Involved in several technical proposals used for tendering and business development.
