Responsible for an equipment budget and inventory valued at over $1M.• Established an NCO Council that met monthly, bringing together 45 leaders to discuss issues and exchange ideas concerning training, troop welfare, and leadership philosophies. Once a quarter, the NCO Council met with the Commanding Officer. This initiative was the driving force in developing team leaders and squad leaders who made quick, tactical decisions that ensured mission success. While in Okinawa, there were no liberty incidents attributed to instilling pride and moral reasoning in these leaders. • Provided logistical support for Cobra Gold, the largest multinational exercise in the Asia-Pacific region attended by more than two dozen nations. OIC Team 2, Advisor Team – Provided leadership and technical expertise to train, mentor, and advise a newly created Afghan National Army (ANA) infantry company through Advanced Infantry Training and deployed with the assigned company during combat operations throughout the AOR. • Trained 175 Afghan National Army (ANA) Soldiers tactically, technically, and administratively.
