I undertake many roles within this business including: - Graphic Design work such as designing logo’s, marketing materials, leaflets, brochures and large format graphics. - Website Design work including creation and layout of concepts through to build of static html website pages and content management system (CMS) driven websites utilising the SilverStripe CMS and framework.- Search Engine Optimisation for small business clients including keyword research, onsite optimisation and back link building to improve search engine visibility. - General day to day running of the business including marketing, accounting and development of business processes.For more information about the work undertaken visit my business website: https://www.inceptiondesign.co.uk.

I was the in-house Graphic and Website Designer which involved designing promotional and communication materials for various community and local government projects around the country. Also, roles included advising on general communications for projects and client engagement events.

During my time at the River Nene Regional Park I worked with a range of partners, including a graphic design agency to develop the project brand identity. Further work that I undertook included developing promotional literature and marketing materials to increase the visibility of the project locally and regionally. I also oversaw the development of the project website in conjunction with a web company and continued maintenance once the site was completed. During this time, I also lead the branding and marketing of four corporate events with up to 150 delegates at each, and a series of smaller engagement events to promote the River Nene Regional Park project and the development of Environmental Character and Green Infrastructure suite.

Providing support to project officers in the Natural Environment team including support delivering environmental projects initiatives relating to Northamptonshire Biodiversity Action Plan and Tree Warden Scheme. This often-involved work relating to marketing and promotion for example with production of event invitations, leaflets and updating the built and natural environment departments section of the county council website.
