I have a wide variety of experience and education that spans many different disciplines. I was formally trained in several different scientific fields, but have transitioned to the electrical construction industry. I received formal education at Bates Technical College, where I earned my Associate's of Applied Science degree. During my time at Bates I opted to be a part of the work-study program, where I was able to achieve employment in the industry in lieu of classroom time to finish out my education. I have been employed at Battery Power Systems, (BPS), for over a year now. My primary responsibilities at BPS focus on generator, Automatic Transfer Switch, Manual Transfer Switch, CamLock, and new service installs and all the steps associated with them. I occasionally do DC work as well, which involves DC power plant swaps, battery replacements/removals, and battery recycling. The scope of work exceeds purely install and mechanical skills as well. I frequently must interact with other contractors and companies, as well as completing safety and operational paper work for each job.
