I am a dedicated and passionate computer scientist with boundless curiosity and a strong background in software design, system administration, and mathematics.I work for The Boeing Company as a Software Engineer on the EA-18G Growler Electronic Warfare Suite. I develop for and maintain a large codebase in C++ and C utilizing Visual Studio and Git. I also develop automated tests in Java and have experience working with internally developed tools. I am Scrum Master certified for the Scaled Agile Framework and work on a team utilizing agile development principles with Jira. I studied Computer Science at UW Madison and am versed in many topics including Operating Systems, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Graphics, and Software Engineering. I also have a Game Design Certificate for which I studied Digital Art and the Principles of Software Design. Additionally, I have a passion for Mathematics and have taken many courses to increase my knowledge in the field.I developed and released the video game Phaser using the Unity platform with a small team at our company Refraction Games LLC. This taught me a great deal about the inner workings of software development. I proceeded to develop software for UW Health and worked with the same team to create a custom game to teach residents the principles of High Value Care. This game is used as part of their curriculum and increase retention among residents and students.I also have experience administering computer systems in the work world at several small businesses alongside developing websites to help these companies reach their customers. At Ironside Computers, I built enthusiast computers to order including the full assembly process, OS/software installation, and quality assurance testing. I also have superb communication and management skills from my background in the service industry.
