James is responsible for automation and monitoring of cloud infrastructure deployments, API documentation and development of InfoSec policy framework.

Initially employed on a casual basis, James is now a part-time associate teaching fellow in the University's diploma of university studies and university preparation programmes where he teaches predominantly pre-degree mathematics and science. He also tutors statistics, foundation mathematics and foundation physics for the School of Mathematics and Physics.

James was employed by the City of Waterford Vocational Education Committee (VEC) and taught ICT in three different schools under the VEC’s management. His duties included teaching FETAC Level 5 accredited modules in web design, databases and computer programming to adult students in the Waterford Vocational Training Opportunities Scheme (VTOS) centre and St. Paul’s Community College. James also co-taught engineering mathematics and computer architecture and provided an ICT program for students with moderate learning difficulties at St. Martin’s Special School.

James was a taught science to students in years 7 to 10 at Icknield High and also participated in school trips and extra curricular activities. Icknield High School is a large, non-denominational comprehensive school with an enrollment of almost 1500 students in Luton, UK.

Sutton Park School is a co-educational private school in North Dublin with an enrolment of approximately 430 students. James was responsible for upgrading and supporting the school's ICT infrastructure. While with the school, he also attained formal teaching qualifications.

James was a freelance Lotus Notes & Domino consultant. His expertise extended from messaging administration and database management to systems design and development.

James was a technical trainer who delivered Lotus Notes/Domino training internally to Lotus customer support staff. Lotus Development is a division of IBM Software.
