Senior position responsible for university planning directly supporting the Senior Leadership team. Promoted to lead a reorganized unit overseeing space planning and allocation University wide, project planning and project design functions in order to assure alignment of projects with capital and University priorities, with a focus on improving project outcomes. Directly supported SVP CFO, SVP Provost and Student Affairs units.Chaired the Classroom Committee for ten years, assembling and prioritizing renovations for capital funding, and advocating for the institutions core instructional facilities. Via space allocation and membership on the annual capital program team, grew core general use classroom count by 70% and successfully contributed to the implementation of standardized classroom instructional technology and funded replacement refresh in 100% of the 238 general use classrooms.Planned, programmed, coordinated capital budgeting and directed work providing for a new and relocated President's office, newly acquired university owned President's Residence, new and relocated Provost's Office, new and relocated Alumni Center & Faculty Club dining facility, an ERC CenSSIS, Center for Network Science, Center for Drug Discovery, Center for High Rate Nano-manufacturing, NMR, MRI and Microscopy core facilities, vivaria expansions, etc. Planned and coordinated the relocation of several University leadership groups to a single building providing for leadership proximity and collaboration. Assembled and presented space use strategy for 260k sf of real estate acquisitions supporting academic, research and administrative needs.Led a talented group of architects, designers, planners and support staff responsible for broad university perspective, client service supporting all academic, student services and administrative units.Planned, budgeted and coordinated all aspects of space allocation and capital for all faculty hires.
