James is a Criminal Defence Lawyer at Daniel Brown Law. Prior to joining Daniel Brown Law, he worked as an associate lawyer at a top criminal and regulatory boutique firm in Toronto. Prior to law school he worked at an organization dedicated to improving the mental health services available to vulnerable youth. James attended the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University. He also holds a Masters of Philosophy in Social Anthropology from the University of Oxford where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar. His research focused on the political education of young people in Bolivia. He also holds a B.A. in Sociology from St. Francis Xavier University.
