I have been involved with Breakell Racing for about 19 years overall, Initially working closely with my father and in more recent years managing the team on my own. The team has currently expanded to employ several part time staff members. I have worked on various major Sellafield projects while working at NWP, these projects are SMF Hatch Doors, BEP and SDP. I was allocated two systems to lead on the SDP project. These systems where bogie transfer systems, however I was also tasked to work on harmonised bogie drive methods and through wall recover systems as part of this assignment.I have worked on more Sellafield work through the DSA. I was the mechanical lead for the BEP in-cell handler manual recovery equipment detailed design phase. This piece of work required me to lead a team of 4 engineers to deliver detailed and manufacturing design packages including all drawings, 3D models, and full sets of documentation and checking of all deliverables. The value of this project was £450k. I was also tasked as the Senior Mechanical Engineer responsible for manufacturing design package delivery of BEP Waste Treatment Cell Containment Door remedial works.My most Recent Assignment at NWP is as Engineering design support for Intelligent Customer (BEPDT).
