Design led studio inspired by the fusion of traditional and contemporary materials with a focus on sustainable design

• In house technical lead • Projects range in value from £3,500,000 to £9,000,000• Managing the design team from appointment, through to delivery of construction information• Design stage analysis of construction proposals• Reviewing consultant packages to ensure accuracy of information • Running design team and coordination meetings• Liaising with the wider design and delivery team, including off site manufacture, specialist sub-contractors and statutory utility consultants• Reviewing sub-contractor design packages• Chairing in house meetings to review construction, design and commercial issues throughout the construction phase• Overseeing schemes and technical information through from detailed design to construction status information• Coordination of as-built and handover information• Attending to issues on site, overcoming details and conflicts• Coordinating between the site team and consultants• Overseeing compliance with statutory consents• Assisting in contract programming and project management• Carrying out contract administration

• Job running project architect• Projects range in value from £150,000 to over £4,000,000.• Responsible for a small team of technical staff• In house sustainability expert• Strong expertise in residential design and technical detailing• Initial concept design through to gaining statutory consents• Resolving technical issues• Completion and coordination of working drawing packages• Managing schemes from RIBA stage 0-7• Key contact for the client and site construction team• EPC, SAP and Code for Sustainable Homes assessor• Pro bono activities, including RIBA charity event ‘Architect in the House’ for Shelter• Carrying out site inspections and quality control• Generating fee income

• Initial concept design through to gaining statutory consents• Resolving technical issues• Completion and coordination of working drawing packages• Managing schemes from RIBA stage A-L• Key contact for the client and site construction team• EPC, SAP and Code for Sustainable Homes assessor• Writing a regular Architectural Editorial for local media• Practice technical representative for Robust Details, NBS and SAP• Coordinating CPD events• Pro bono activities, including RIBA charity event ‘Architect in the House’ for Shelter• Carrying out site inspections and quality control• Carrying out condition surveys on existing properties• Generating fee income
