Tracking medical implants and instruments associated with spinal surgery. Each part, whether implant or instrument, has it's own Lot/Batch number that must be tracked and cataloged for the FDA. I must also inspect each medical kit and all of it's contents as it returns from the field to ensure that nothing is damaged and also replace any implants that were used. I enter all the information into SAP and make all the adjustments in the system (SAP) to reflect what is actually in each set.
