A Shoreditch based visual artist, creative director and entrepreneur from London, I am also the Founder and Creative Director of international studios Acrylicize; the multidisciplinary creative studio - based in both London and Seattle - that was born out of my art degree, working with a variety of media to create work that explores themes of identity and art’s relationship with the commercial world. My philosophy has always been to challenge art’s dependency on the gallery institution, making work that focuses on accessibility and the desire to positively connect people with their environment, and my body of work draws on themes of art as commodity, fusing a wide range of disciplines from fine art, graphic design, interior design and architecture.I have recently unveiled large-scale permanent public artwork In Anticipation in the heart of Shoreditch, and have exhibited work at the Royal Academy of Arts as part of their 250th Summer exhibition, curated by Grayson Perry. My work also includes the Lego Mini Figure series; garnering international acclaim, this series makes wry observations about western society, playing out our hopes, dreams and insecurities through the medium of everyday items - in this case as Lego characters.
