The process involved migrating services to secondary infrastructure and then failing back to primary infrastructure upon completion. The infrastructure migrated comprised three HP Servers acting as VMWare hosts, two 3PAR SAN storage controllers and four drive enclosures, a HP DL380 server acting as a Veeam Backup controller with HP StoreVirtual storage, network and storage switches, load balancers and all associated cabling. • My team and I successfully migrated and consolidated a multisite Exchange 2010 environment (32 instances, 6000 mailboxes) to a centralised Exchange 2016 environment with high availability features. Under the 2016 environment the IT team were able to increase capacity, improve data integrity and respond more quickly to employee and third party service requests such as discovery searches. • Installation and configuration of a new Veeam Backup environment with HP StoreVirtual SAN storage and integrated cloud storage. After thorough testing, I successfully migrated all backup processes and approximately 120TB of data from an Arcserve UDP environment to Veeam. The migration and redesign significantly enhanced RPO/RTO, increased capacity, and improved disaster recovery resiliency.

Servers upgraded included domain controllers with Active Directory, file and print servers and backup servers. • Worked as the sole engineer to replace over 30 Exchange 2003 servers with Exchange 2010 servers. The upgrade required the migration of over 3000 user and shared mailboxes with Outlook profile updates.
