Open and develop a new first start company in Dubai, in order to market and support the products and systems being manufactured by Belimo Automation AG, Switzerland throughout the GCC and wider Middle East. As Belimo were not well known in the area, I set into operation and trained a large Distributor and OEM network within 12 countries throughout the Middle East and North Africa, in order for them to support the Belimo products and systems within their own countries with continued support from our Central Middle East office based in Dubai. Due to the many in-house seminars and exhibition seminars that we carried out throughout the Middle East, together with having many successful years experience within the Turnkey Control System/BEMS/MEP industries and many years of local knowledge, we were able to gain the support of many local and international consultancy companies, contractors and end-users whom I had known over past years. This allowed us to gain by far, the major market share in our industry for the control of Air and Water Distribution products, such as Volume Control, Intelligent VAV, Fire/Smoke protection, together with a large range of HVAC/Industrial Water Control Valves and those products have been installed within most of the major prime projects within the Middle East and North Africa. Handed this very successful company, together with a wealth of past experience back to Belimo AG, Switzerland to allow them to open their own operation in conjunction with our existing customer base. I was given the opportunity to open and develope a complete new first start company in Dubai to promote and market the Automatic/BEMS Control System products manufactured by Staefa Control Systems AG, Switzerland (now part of the Siemens Building Technology Group).With Staefa having a wide range of very new technology products within the Control System industry and myself having many years experience in this industry by offering turnkey control system solutions, together with having very good business arrangements within the Middle East due to past associations, we were able to quickly expand the company throughout the GCC countries, the wider Middle East and the India Subcontinent, where we were involved in carrying out many successful major turnkey projects, such as Universities, Airports, Hospitals, Hotels and many other Commercial/Industrial complexes. For many years, the Middle East operation of Staefa Control Systems was one of the major sources of revenue for the Staefa Control System world-wide group, with continued increases to forecasted figures on a year by year basis and I am very proud to have brought success for this company throughout the Middle East within a short period of time.
