Working as the Director for Active in the Community CIC, my role is to identify new areas and partners that require some additional capacity support to deliver contracts, services or projects. The services address some of the most pressing issues in society, including inactivity, community safety, mental health and inclusive sport for marginalised demographic groups.

Responsible for the 'Adopt a School' project which linked primary schools to their local leisure facilities to increase usage of the site and awareness of the opportunities to become physically active within their local community.I was also given the provision to set up and deliver a series of projects targeting a variety of groups. Through this remit, I was able to develop a highly successful Parkour/Free Running group and a 'Veterans' football league.

The role included preperation for lessons, organising extra-curricular clubs, working in the SEN (Special Education Needs) department, taking on the role of a form tutor and covering PE lessons in teacher absence.

Variety of roles including organising youth project activities, coaching a cluster of primary schools, managing a holiday play scheme and assisting the SDO in organising the Herts Youth Games for the District.

Structured the Bedfordshire County involvement in the REFF scheme (Research of English Football Facilities), supported in event management, coach education, charter standard applications and community engagement.
