Mobile application architecture, cloud computing system design, and process management

Provided insights and advice from my own experience in the development of location-focused mobile applications and services.

Lead Development and Project Management for client-assisted applications, as well as Development and Maintenance on the SwingTracker application and other internal projects.

Responsibilities included developing and maintaing iPhone, iPad, and Universal iOS applications for e-commerce vendors including Party City, Sephora, and American Eagle.

Contributed to initial concept design, including character and move-set creation, game mechanic, and UI Design. Created custom UI implementations and vetted users with prototypes to test user experience and interactions. Assisted in the development of the original private beta version of the MegaBits iPhone application.

Developed the PensPoints iPhone application and corresponding backend APIs. Implemented new features for the LoyalTree application. Refactored application UI to adhere to new design specifications, as mobile device’s screen sizes evolved.

General IT support. Installing and fixing computers, printers, and external hard drives.

I attended my first Startup Weekend in the fall of 2011, and worked with a team of 8 to create a prototype mobile application for geolocation-based city exploration, called MadMapz. In 2012, I attended again, and continued to write map-focused tech when a team of 12 of us came together to develop and present the first prototype of MegaBits, a 2D monster-training game “played in the real world.”
