Established over 200 years ago, De La Rue work with governments, central banks and commercial organisations around the globe in three core areas: Cash Supply Chain, producing banknotes; Citizen Identity including passports and identity management; and Product Authentication protecting brands and fighting counterfeiting.Working as a Bid Manager for the Africa and Asia regions, I am responsible for assembling and managing bids, the bid process and stakeholders to prepare winning bids and maximise sales. Using the bid process, flexing as necessary, to efficiently manage and own the end to end process relevant to the bid delivering the submission on time and in full. Responsible for multi year, multi level (PQQ, ITT, and RFP) and high profile strategic bids.

Westpac, Australia's first bank, serves over 13 million customers through five customer facing divisions. Working as a Bid Project Manager for Westpac Commercial Bank, my primary responsibility was to ensure all bids, proposals and tender responses were compliant and responsive to each customers’ unique requirements.

In support of OpenText's vision of creating a Digital-First World by simplifying, transforming, and accelerating its customers needs, my role as Proposal and Bid Manager APAC is primarily to help our customers understand the value that OpenText will deliver to any organisation, by ensuring that all customer facing proposal documents are clear, compelling and easily understandable. As part of this role, some of my primary activities include:- Working closely with the sales team and leadership to form and executve winning proposal strategies, tailored to the unique requirements of each OpenText customer- Managing and coordinating the proposal process to ensure the document is finished to a high standard, clearly articulating the value OpenText will deliver- Continually refining and improving the established standardised proposal response processes, infrastructure, standards, templates, checklists, and formats in support of OpenText's sales objectives- Providing and managing a strong, high volume, full proposal service supporting the Asia Pacific region- Produce 200+ proposals per year for geographically dispersed teams focused on securing new business
