My career has been a continual expression of creative ideas in many arenas. I have written or co-written five books. Of all the things I have done in my life, writing has always been the most satisfying.That is why I am so delighted to begin my new venture, "The Written Life," focused on helping people understand their lives through the vehicles of biography and memoir. This is exciting work for me, because of the way in which it serves people in a deep and meaningful way. It gives focus and brings illumination to the experiences and accomplishments of a lifetime.I feel extremely fortunate to have made this longstanding dream of mine a reality. The work I am doing with current clients is the most rewarding and enjoyable of my entire career. What a gift to be able to do what you love and make a good living at it!Specialties: First and foremost, I am a listener. I care deeply and pay very close attention to the stories my clients are telling me, and to the emotional impact these stories have on them.Secondly, I am a writer, but more so, a composer. I take the stories of a lifetime and compose them into a book that is compelling and dramatic. Using the essential elements of literature, I train my craft on creating a book that is a good read, and in so doing, a deep honoring of the life it describes.
