I am a time served Engineer, currently working for Finning UK Ltd since 2003. starting as PM Engineer. After approximately a year I moved into Field Service Engineer role repairing and maintaining a vast array of equipment built by Caterpillar along with repairs and diagnostics to non-CAT equipment. I am Currently Field Service Team Leader, whilst carrying out my daily engineering duties, being a team leader requires me to assist management and service control teams with day to day running covering service control holidays. Carrying out health and safety audits and maintaining a strong engaged team. I also spend a significant time working on technical projects that arrive within our region and assisting our technical support service group. I have strong Troubleshooting skills in all aspects of mobile and fixed plant, including engine, transmission, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Using all methods and diagnostic tooling. I carry out lots of Fabrication and welding in the field and workshop. From major structural rebuilds to small repairs. I hold a Valid welding code certification. I also have varied experience working mainly in construction equipment sector, power generation, marine and rail sectors on behalf of Finning.I have completed many Service Training courses delivered by both Finning and Caterpillar, completed training consists of multiple Machine specific courses, Generic courses for CAT Powertrain systems and Hydraulic systems, Engine specific up to C175 engines and Tier 4 final I have a good work ethic, with good customer facing skills. I am a strong team player as well as working alone. I am very good at working under my own initiative as required on a daily basis. I thrive on working under pressure and I am always keen to give excellent customer service and first time fix.
