Currently employed as a manufacturing operator with J-Teq, EMS. Previously employed by Jabil, a supply chain management and manufacturing company in Livingston, West Lothian, Scotland. Before this current role I was employed as a Training Facilitator with Oceaneering International Services - Installation Work-over and Control Systems (IWOCS) / Service and Rental Group, having moved from Oceaneering Umbilical Solutions. Oceaneering is a worldwide oilfield provider of engineered services and products primarily to the offshore oil and gas industry, with a focus on deep water applications.My primary role within the IWOCS / Service and Rental group was to prepare source material for lesson plans in order to assist in the creation of web based training material for global staff. I was also responsible for the preparation and presentation of material in order to help employees understand their common goals and objectives and help them plan to achieve their tasks and objectives for their roles within the company. Previously I was employed as a Senior Training Officer with Macfarlan Smith Limited. Macfarlan Smith is a world leader in the production of alkaloid opiates and other controlled drugs. Macfarlan Smith manufactures and develops active pharmaceutical ingredients and intermediates. The company operates a state-of-the-art plant to the highest level of cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices). My role there was to re-organising their training records into a more 'user-friendly' format, re-organising the training record filing system to allow easier access and also to carry out face-to-face interviews with staff members to ensure accuracy and content of training files.
