I've developed my music business expertise through a variety of high profile roles. My skills include sync licensing, music publishing, music supervision/coordination, and broadcast media video production.I co-created the sync licensing company Laurel Canon Music Services in 2011 with Music Supervisor Gary Calamar, representing music by Iggy Pop, Dave Alvin, Maria Taylor, Azure Ray, Louise Goffin and more. We've placed music in TV shows like "Shameless" (Showtime), "This Is Us" (NBC), "Here and Now" (HBO) and in ads for companies like Apple and Subaru. I learned the world of film and TV music supervision by working for two of the best: Gary Calamar ("3 Body Problem", "Somebody Somewhere", "Titans") and Chris Douridas ("Shrek 2", "House of Lies"). As an artist and composer, I've created music for major TV shows ("Entourage", "Six Feet Under") and ads (Subaru, Fed Ex, and Wal-Mart). My co-written song "Let's Boot and Rally" was performed by Iggy Pop and Best Coast as an end credit in HBO's "True Blood." My music has been published by Downtown Music Publishing (home of many major songwriters as well as the John Lennon catalog) and I have performed original music on the BBC, MTV, and at the Lollapalooza festival. As a producer, I co-created the Lotus World Music and Arts Festival in Indiana, served as the West Coast Producer for the live performance program "AOL Music Sessions," overseeing all aspects of production and live sessions for some of the biggest names in music (including Paul McCartney, Coldplay, Bonnie Raitt, Beck, The Roots, Mary J. Blige, Fleetwood Mac, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, and many more) and produced the "New Ground" radio show, hosted by Chris Douridas on KCRW, for six years.
